MY STORY

​

I am a consultant, coach and mentor based in Cornwall, UK, dedicated to lifelong learning, professional development and the use of theories and practice applied to coaching, mentoring and entrepreneurship to drive success. I am an equality, diversity and inclusion spcialist and believe in creating cultures of inclusive leadership, with creativity, courage and compassion as core values. I am passionate about innovating with purpose and committed to working within an ethical framework with a high degree of self-awareness and integrity. 

I have an active lifestyle and love the outdoors to reflect, gain clarity, and maintain my health and wellbeing, I've cycled thousands of miles solo and written a book about some of the experiences that acted as a catalyst to build my on my vision, understanding, clarity and agility when at times I was unsure how to push through. In 2012 I left London life in search of connection and travelled through Portugal and Spain to spend time living in my grandmothers native Italy. Being immersed in foreign laungauge, customs and cultures helped gain perspective and autonomy. I didn't know at the time that it would lead me back to St Ives, where I grew up, with a totally fresh outlook, and the base I had always been looking for. 

The past ten years in have been a test of resilience, I have always had a stong sense of purpose, to work with others and never let go of hope or ambition even when times were hard and external factors overwhelming. In 2019 I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm, this was a pivotal point in my life, since then I have studied a masters degree and founded two businesses. My personal and professional experience has led me to be bold and assured in my commitment to work with individuals and businesses on their route to a thriving, healthier more liberated and profitable future.  I am a humanist, progressive and dynamic thinker. I have a lifetime of research and learnt from plenty of challenges and breakthroughs to create the independent, balanced and integrated life that I love. 

I have moved into coaching in the past year as I recognise the complex challenges we face in a changing world, where technology is developing more rapidly than we can keep up with, and there is great opportunity but also uncertainty and risk in the ways that businesses and lifestyles evolve.  I have years of experience in management positions and a significant part of this has been using coaching and training to develop teams and individuals. I also have a great deal of experience in project management; the process of managing change in a structured, thoughtful way in order to meet organisational goals, objectives, and missions. You are your own expert, my experience, insight, outlook and expertise is a valuable resource to provide tailored support and facilitation for you to reach your goals.
